My second performance?

On December 31, they asked me if I wanted to sing one of my songs at the church program. The program theme will be "The goodness of God to us."

When she asked me if I wanted to sing a song, I told her it depended on the theme. I may need a song that aligns with their chosen theme; I may not have one. She told me, Well, you can compose a new song then. Lately, I haven't been writing songs, but immediately I knew which song I could sing without knowing what the program's theme would be.

As soon as she knew the theme, she asked if I was still interested in singing a song. I told her that I was waiting for her to tell me what the theme would be. The song I've chosen talks about God's goodness in giving us a new day every day.

I'm excited; even though I haven't played the guitar for some time, I haven't been practicing, so I need to do my best to get the best version of the song for the 31st of December.

I believe the Lord has given me the ministry of singing, even though I'm not a good singer and have a lot to learn about composition. But when the Lord opens doors. If it is His door, I always pray for Him to keep it open if it is his will. See you on the 31st of December with the song "Today Is a New Day." The song will be a blessing for me and all the others who will listen to it.
